Our History
Nycor was founded in 1957 and has been under the same ownership since 1963. The company name was Gopher Employment. Gopher was one of the founding search firms in the Midwest. Since that time, the company has grown through the years with our clients and is now a consistent leader in contract consulting and direct staffing.
Nycor currently consists of four distinct corporations collectively known as The Nycor Group. Nycor now offers Contingent, Engagement and Retained Search Services, Contract and Contract to Direct Services, Consulting, and Volume Staffing / Pay Rolling solutions for our clients.
Our 50+ years in the staffing and recruitment industry, offering both direct and contract services, is unique in itself, and has given us a "first to market" type of head start in terms of not only attracting the best talent for our clients but for internal staff as well. We are respected by our clients for consistently delivering strong talent matches for their technical and professional requirements.
In addition, Nycor has earned a strong reputation with our candidates by connecting talented professionals and skilled labor with job opportunities they might not have otherwise known about.
